Responsibilities
- Maintain software applications and live services with emphasis on scalability, reliability, automation, and performance.
- Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health using observability practices.
- Implement and maintain DevOps, continuous integration, deployment, and automated testing practices.
- Manage software configurations and release processes, including coordinating new releases.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 client-facing technical and production support, including out-of-hours and on-call coverage.
- Improve the service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Lead incident response, resolve production issues, monitor ServiceNow, and follow Change Management procedures.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence and mentor team members on availability, performance, automation, and automated responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to IT, business teams, customers, and senior management.
Requirements
- Require 1 to 2 years of professional experience with cloud computing technologies and SRE practices.
- Require proficiency with Azure cloud technologies such as AKS, ACR, Azure Functions, Azure Web App, storage, containers, and LLM, or AWS technologies such as RDS, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, CloudWatch, Kinesis, and LLM.
- Require programming or scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Require knowledge of Windows or Linux environments, including system administration, networking, IAM, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
- Require familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools, including Git and GitLab, along with branching and versioning strategies.
- Require excellent written and oral English communication skills and fluency in Mandarin.
- Prefer experience with SDK, VS Code extensions, Copilot, and Power Platform.
- Prefer ITIL or Azure/AWS certification and experience in financial or investment banking environments.
- Require the ability to work under pressure, stay current with technology trends, recommend reliability improvements, and maintain effective relationships across teams.
