Responsibilities
- Develop and program automation solutions for project deliveries.
- Program and support PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Translate drawings, schematics, and technical requirements into functioning automation solutions.
- Test and verify systems for quality and reliability.
- Prepare engineering and project documentation.
- Contribute to software development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers to meet project requirements and delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with process automation, including PLC and/or HMI systems.
- Understanding of software development principles and best practices, including design patterns and coding standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative, open-minded approach with willingness to learn and contribute.
- Passion for technology and interest in keeping current with software and automation developments.
