Responsibilities

  • Develop and program automation solutions for project deliveries.
  • Program and support PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Translate drawings, schematics, and technical requirements into functioning automation solutions.
  • Test and verify systems for quality and reliability.
  • Prepare engineering and project documentation.
  • Contribute to software development and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineers to meet project requirements and delivery schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with process automation, including PLC and/or HMI systems.
  • Understanding of software development principles and best practices, including design patterns and coding standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative, open-minded approach with willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Passion for technology and interest in keeping current with software and automation developments.
