Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements for regional business applications.
- Provide second-line production support, including incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain services, APIs, integrations, scripts, and automation programs.
- Analyze application logs, system metrics, and monitoring data to identify issues and improve platform stability.
- Participate in software deployments, release activities, and change management processes.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, cybersecurity, architecture, and business teams.
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Follow engineering standards, secure coding practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Strong Java development skills, with Spring or Spring Boot preferred.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat, SQL and database development, PowerShell, Linux/RHEL/Unix environments, Bash/Shell scripting, application support, and production troubleshooting.
- Strongly preferred experience with REST APIs, IBM MQ, Azure DevOps or CI-CD pipelines, SWIFT messaging, DTCC connectivity, post-trade processing, CSV/XML file integrations, and authentication technologies.
- Financial-markets domain experience, including securities and trade lifecycle processing, regulatory reporting, exception management, reconciliation, and front-office to back-office integration flows.
