Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features in Restream web services.
- Design and implement backend APIs and business logic for new and existing features.
- Give and receive code review feedback.
- Monitor emerging technologies and identify opportunities in the environment.
- Ensure redundancy and resilience of Restream production infrastructure.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least one general-purpose programming language.
- Node.js with TypeScript or Rust is a plus but not required.
- High proficiency in relational and NoSQL database design, including Scylla and Redis.
- Experience creating, testing, consuming, and supporting APIs for web services.
- Comfort working with AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, continuous deployment workflows, and a stack using multiple programming languages.
- Basic front-end skills; experience with modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Scrappy, entrepreneurial, self-directed, analytical, and collaborative approach.
