Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable Java services for Clear Street’s brokerage platform.
- Build services covering user authentication, authorization, and client data delivery.
- Design systems and APIs that address complex business problems, scale to massive data volumes, and provide strong performance.
- Implement clean and efficient code using sound design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Mentor team members, define engineering standards, and promote a system design approach.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
- At least seven years of professional experience implementing highly scalable services in Java.
- Deep understanding of the Spring Framework ecosystem.
- Experience building systems that solve complex business problems and handle massive amounts of data.
- Experience with distributed systems and associated technologies.
- Strong ability to explain system design concepts and paradigms to engineers and stakeholders.
- Strong command of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Clear technical communication and collaborative working style.
- Preferred experience with OAuth2, Auth0 FGA or Authzed, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
