Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy, system architecture, and long-term design evolution for core Idira Credential Provider components.
- Solve complex technical challenges involving performance, scalability, security, and enterprise system architecture.
- Connect the team with R&D groups and engineering leadership across Bulgaria and Israel to drive strategic alignment and execution.
- Lead product hardening and threat mitigation by translating security assessments into scalable architectural solutions.
- Mentor engineers across sites and promote rigorous design reviews, code reviews, and modern engineering standards.
- Evaluate and integrate modern technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted software development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including deep mastery of C++ and proficiency in Java, C#, Go, or Python.
- Proven experience architecting, designing, and delivering complex, large-scale enterprise systems from inception through production.
- Strong ability to define architectural vision, influence technical roadmaps, and align multi-site R&D teams.
- Deep expertise in low-level system design, multithreaded backend architecture, performance tuning, and cross-OS C++ development on Windows and Linux.
- Strategic ownership, technical rigor, and strong complex problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred expertise in cybersecurity, secrets management, Identity & Access Management, privileged access management, or OS security internals.
- Preferred experience establishing technical foundations for satellite sites or distributed R&D teams, championing AI coding tools, and working with AWS and enterprise deployment models.
