Responsibilities
- Act as a Tech Lead, Architect, Thought Leader, Full Stack Engineer, and Consultant across one or more software delivery teams.
- Serve as a hands-on CTO within customer accounts and drive technical outcomes and organizational change.
- Build and improve cloud automation, developer tooling, infrastructure as code, and software delivery platforms.
- Coach teams in DevOps practices and empower them to build, run, test, and release their own software.
- Write, test, debug, and deliver software across multiple programming languages, architectures, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Mentor colleagues and customers, share knowledge, and help establish strong engineering cultures.
- Document architecture and infrastructure and support frequent automated releases through continuous delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience working with AWS and strong experience in cloud, automation, tooling, and DevOps.
- Experience writing code with tests and working across a variety of programming languages.
- Experience working with databases, APIs, at least one cloud platform, and debugging a range of systems.
- Evidence of self-development and a drive to deliver outcomes for users.
- Desire and ability to mentor and people-manage team members.
- Consultancy, customer and user engagement, multidisciplinary team, presentation, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, architectural design, and React ecosystem experience are desirable.
- Candidates must be eligible for UK SC security clearance, which requires five years of continuous UK residency and five years of employment history or history back to full-time education.
