Base Salary
$83k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain circuit and system design concepts using analog and digital design techniques.
- Interface sensors with microcontrollers and microprocessors and develop embedded firmware in C/C++.
- Design and support hardware interfaces, printed circuit boards, sensors, actuators, wireless systems, and AC/DC power conversion.
- Support existing products and new product development while sustaining production in collaboration with development, production, customer support, and supply chain teams.
- Evaluate newer technologies and methods for existing products and designs.
- Collect and analyze technical information from engineers, product managers, suppliers, technical documents, equipment operation, tests, and experiments.
- Serve as a technical expert and consultant within the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related engineering field; Computer Science degrees will not be considered.
- Engineer II candidates require 2–4 years of experience; Engineer III candidates require 5–7 years; Engineer IV candidates require 7+ years.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with RTOS environments.
- Understanding of hardware interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN.
- Experience with PCB design; ORCAD is preferred.
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensor applications, solenoid-based actuators, wireless technologies, and related embedded systems.
- Willingness to learn Python, C, and other programming languages as needed.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
