Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal compute infrastructure and platforms for evolving organizational needs.
- Improve the maintainability, reliability, and utility of internal infrastructure.
- Make build-versus-buy decisions and partner with vendors to integrate external technologies.
- Collaborate with teams to understand emerging needs and deliver effective platform solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations for high-severity incidents affecting critical systems.
- Research and evaluate technologies and open-source advancements to improve infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience on core infrastructure with an emphasis on operational excellence.
- At least 2 years contributing to system design or architecture for new and existing systems.
- Strong systems programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust.
- Deep familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCE, or system administration/SRE work in data centers.
- Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and system reliability principles.
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
