Responsibilities
- Design and implement forecasting, financial, or optimization models for strategic decisions.
- Build end-to-end ML pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Data Science to productionize experimental models.
- Partner with Analytics & Finance teams to ensure forecasts are interpretable and accurate.
- Develop explainability tools to communicate model drivers and uncertainty.
- Improve data pipelines and workflows using tools like Airflow and BigQuery.
- Establish best practices for model evaluation and maintenance.
- Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software or ML engineering.
- Deep understanding of applied ML and forecasting techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn and XGBoost.
- Experience building data pipelines with tools like Airflow and Spark.
- Familiarity with model explainability techniques.
- Ability to connect model design to business objectives.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in forecasting models in fintech or consumer settings.
- Exposure to automated model serving and monitoring.
- Background in statistical modeling and uncertainty estimation.
