Responsibilities
- Understand test requirements and design test cases based on business and testable requirements.
- Prepare test plans, define testing scope and criteria, and participate in User Acceptance Testing.
- Design, develop, automate, and execute software validation tests using appropriate test environments and frameworks.
- Use model-based testing, VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation to improve the test lifecycle.
- Peer review test cases and collaborate with development teams to identify and capture coverage.
- Detect issues, prepare clear defect reports with replication details, and track test progress.
- Create test status dashboards, execution reports, WSRs, and updates in test management repositories.
- Provide testing status, usability and serviceability feedback, and quality-risk information to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate effort records in eCube, TMS, and other project trackers.
- Respond to customer requests and support quality interactions through email, calls, and fault tracking.
Requirements
- Knowledge of test requirements analysis, test case design, test planning, test execution, and defect reporting.
- Ability to design and execute automation frameworks and automate software validation tests.
- Knowledge of model-based testing and GUI automation, including VB macros and scheduling.
- Ability to set up test environments and create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Ability to define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-of-scope areas.
- Ability to prepare test dashboards, execution reports, and accurate project tracking updates.
- Strong customer focus, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills.
