Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and improve AI/ML models for threat detection, anomaly detection, and incident response.
- Analyze large-scale security datasets to identify patterns, trends, and emerging threats.
- Integrate AI solutions with cybersecurity infrastructure, including SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations using AI/ML.
- Research AI techniques relevant to cybersecurity, document model architectures and findings, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide AI-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with data privacy requirements, security policies, and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning or deep learning models, preferably for security applications.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, Java, or C++, with experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and security operations.
- Experience with large datasets, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their security services.
- Preferred qualifications include CISSP, CEH, or relevant AI/ML certifications; SIEM, SOAR, or IDS/IPS integration experience; adversarial machine learning and model robustness knowledge; ML DevSecOps and CI/CD experience; GDPR or HIPAA familiarity; open-source contributions; and NLP experience for security use cases.
