Base Salary
$177k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the maturation and evolution of data solutions across programs, contracts, and operating units.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for data acquisition, harmonization, processing, storage, analysis, and dissemination.
- Translate raw sensor and telemetry feeds into actionable information for mission-critical decisions.
- Act as lead architect across the product lifecycle, initially focusing on off-site storage and extensible data dissemination solutions.
- Define enterprise-level data strategy, standards, and interoperability practices.
- Advise senior leadership on analytics value opportunities and roadmap alignment.
- Collaborate with end users and customers to incorporate feedback into technical solutions.
- Lead technical execution while owning requirements, design, risk mitigation, and reach-back support.
- Decompose the solution backlog, prioritize epics and user stories, approve feature completion, and define the Definition of Done.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across data acquisition, analysis, and dissemination disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 10 years, or a PhD and 8 years.
- Demonstrated experience as a technical project lead and Product Owner accountable for solution outcomes.
- Understanding of communications technology, data acquisition, storage, processing, analysis, big data challenges, network protocols, and data dissemination strategies.
- Ability to track developments at the intersection of data science and technology and to build data infrastructure with cross-functional teams.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a qualifying recent background investigation or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial and subsequent Special Access Program access through a Program Access Request.
- Preferred qualifications include applicable program access, Top Secret SCI clearance, advanced data science and data architecture knowledge, statistics, structured and unstructured data analysis, predictive modeling, data visualization, and Artificial Intelligence knowledge.
- Recognized thought leadership and innovation in developing tools, methodologies, and problem-solving approaches.
