Responsibilities
- Own overall test strategy, test planning, and quality assurance activities for China HMI products.
- Coordinate testing resources across HMI, SCADA, Historian, and related products to support development and release schedules.
- Create and maintain test plans, test reports, quality metrics, and release quality assessments.
- Establish and improve automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
- Build and manage testing infrastructure, environments, devices, and automation platforms.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes with Development and DevOps teams.
- Monitor quality indicators, identify risks, drive corrective actions, and lead root cause analysis of major defects.
- Define and track quality KPIs including test coverage, automation coverage, defect leakage, defect turnaround time, and release quality metrics.
- Align testing processes and best practices with Global QA and Product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, quality engineering, or software development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience creating test plans, test strategies, test reports, and release quality assessments.
- Experience coordinating testing across multiple teams and products.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and automated testing practices.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and integrating automated testing into release pipelines.
- Strong defect analysis, troubleshooting, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, plus good written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience as a QA Lead, Quality Engineering Lead, Test Architect, or SDET.
- Preferred hands-on experience with UI automation, API testing, CI/CD systems, automated test framework development, engineering quality metrics, and industrial software products such as HMI, SCADA, Historian, MES, or Industrial IoT solutions.
