Responsibilities
- Build and operate a high-caliber, inclusive team of engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to develop user-friendly features.
- Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows and mentor team members.
- Participate in the full development cycle including design, development, testing, and launch.
- Drive planning and implementation of backend services for mobile and web clients.
- Promote a culture of metrics-led execution and system observability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer developing user-facing applications.
- Fluency in product metrics and experience with tools like BigQuery and Firebase.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with GenAI tools to enhance software engineering productivity.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Focus on user experience and usability, with a background in social or e-commerce being a plus.
- Self-directed with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills.
