Base Salary

$118k - $177k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, and commercialize embedded software and firmware for Cloud Edge and Data Center machine-learning workloads.
  • Develop BSPs, device drivers, board bring-up solutions, RTOS software, secure boot, TrustZone architecture, and Embedded Linux applications.
  • Work with memory management, virtualization, chipset power blocks, clock trees, PCIe, DMA, and efficient data movement.
  • Perform low-level C development, debugging, testing, unit testing, and hardware-assisted debugging using tools such as JTAG and SWD.
  • Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams in an international, multi-site software development environment.

Requirements

  • At least two years of work experience with low-level C programming.
  • Proficiency in C development, debugging, testing, GNU/LLVM tools, embedded platforms, and stop-mode debugging with JTAG or SWD.
  • Experience with BSP development, device drivers, board bring-up, RTOS, secure boot design, and TrustZone architecture.
  • Experience developing and building applications for Embedded Linux and proficiency with unit testing for C.
  • Knowledge of RTOS fundamentals, SoC architecture, hardware blocks, and multithreaded programming.
  • Experience with source-code and configuration-management tools such as git and Gerrit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus two or more years of related experience; or a master's degree plus one or more years; or a PhD in a related field.
  • At least two years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with PyTorch, JAX, Llama.cpp, PCIe, LPDDR, USB, UFS, ECC, PCI AER, low-speed interfaces, Qualcomm QuRT, Qualcomm middleware, debugging tools, emulators, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
