Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based components and features with support from experienced developers.
- Participate in requirements understanding, implementation, testing, deployment, bug fixing, and improvements to existing functionality.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code according to team coding standards.
- Collaborate with Java developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Learn and apply software development best practices, design principles, and development tools.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve productivity, explore solutions, automate repetitive tasks, and support development work responsibly.
- Participate in the Agile Scrum process and continue developing technical skills.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Java fundamentals and Java Core.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Some experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Basic understanding of software development, Git, and unit-testing principles.
- Academic, personal, or professional experience developing software in Java.
- Willingness to learn Spring, Spring Boot, and other team technologies.
- Ability to collaborate, ask questions, and communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred: experience with Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven or Gradle, Docker, Git-based workflows, personal or university Java projects, previous internship or commercial software development, or AI tools for coding and debugging.
