Responsibilities
- Lead AI application development from proof of concept through production deployment.
- Define technical architecture and development strategies for AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Design scalable solutions integrating LLMs, AI services, APIs, enterprise applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Apply RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, agents, AI orchestration, and model integration.
- Support customer implementation projects from feasibility and realization through Go Live.
- Develop project and work plans and act as a client liaison for software troubleshooting.
- Establish coding standards, code reviews, development patterns, CI/CD practices, and reusable components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to software engineers and AI developers.
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with global teams on international development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development or solution architecture experience, ideally on customer-facing projects.
- Advanced experience with one or more of Java or Node.js, Python, package managers, REST APIs, unit testing, databases, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and large language models.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development.
- Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling.
- Experience with Generative AI and/or machine learning.
- Knowledge of AI security, responsible AI, data privacy, and model governance.
- Experience with software quality assurance and test methodologies.
- Ability to act as a team lead or workstream lead and communicate effectively with customers.
- Advanced or fluent English is required; French is a plus.
- Experience with SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry is preferred, along with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native solutions, and agile development methodologies.
