Responsibilities
- Lead AI application development from proof of concept through production deployment.
- Define technical architecture and development strategy for AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Design scalable solutions integrating LLMs, AI services, APIs, enterprise applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Apply RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, agents, AI orchestration, and model integration techniques.
- Participate in customer implementation projects from preparation and feasibility studies through realization and Go Live.
- Collaborate with developers on coding standards, code reviews, development patterns, CI/CD practices, and reusable components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to software engineers and AI developers.
- Support project scoping, work planning, customer troubleshooting, and software problem resolution.
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and compliance requirements.
- Work with global teams on international development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development or solution architecture experience, ideally on customer-facing projects.
- Advanced experience with one or more of Java, Node, Python, package managers, REST APIs, unit tests, databases, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native development, databases, and data modeling.
- Experience with Generative AI and/or Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of AI security, responsible AI, data privacy, and model governance.
- Ability to lead teams or workstreams, prioritize software requirements, identify reusable solutions, and interact effectively with customers.
- Advanced or fluent English is required; French is a plus.
- Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native solutions, agile development, and software quality or test methodologies is preferred.
