Responsibilities
- Define the architectural vision for Linux-based smart-camera platforms.
- Design robust platform management services in modern C++.
- Lead platform bring-up initiatives, including custom Yocto layers and BSP architectures.
- Architect infrastructure integrating NPUs for real-time, hardware-accelerated image and video processing.
- Champion agentic AI coding methodologies across the engineering organization.
- Debug complex hardware/software boundary issues using schematics, logic analyzers, debug probes, and oscilloscopes.
- Mentor senior team members and serve as the ultimate technical escalation point.
Requirements
- Deep, low-level expertise in Linux kernel internals, bootloaders, system-level management, systemd service orchestration, and resource optimization.
- Extensive experience designing high-performance, concurrent, and modular systems with modern C++.
- A distinguished record of solving complex system and hardware integration challenges under performance constraints.
- Self-directed builder able to establish engineering standards and mentor senior engineers.
- Preferred experience architecting NPU, GPU, or DSP pipelines for edge image processing or computer vision.
- Preferred deep expertise with the Yocto Project, including recipes, layers, and distribution customization.
- Strong electrical engineering background and ability to contribute to hardware design reviews and hardware-level debugging.
