Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for software applications.
- Write Python-based testing scripts and perform software performance testing.
- Create test plans, testing schedules, resource requirements, and risk-based testing approaches.
- Review requirements for functional, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, security, and compliance risks.
- Guide engineers on QA methodologies and improve code quality through testing.
- Monitor, analyze, and report QA metrics and coordinate defect resolution with engineers.
- Identify opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of IT experience with an emphasis on QA, including test case development, functional, automated, or performance testing, and defect management.
- Strong knowledge of QA practices, test plans, test cases, and evaluation metrics.
- Excellent experience automating tests for web applications and in-depth functional testing experience.
- Experience with Selenium, BDD, Gherkin, and applications using microservices architecture.
- Experience with API and database testing and working in an Agile Development environment.
- Preferred experience with Python, pytest, pytest-bdd, Postman, Azure or another cloud platform, and workflow-engine applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and English-language skills.
