Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, operate, and improve massively scalable cryptography and identity management systems.
  • Design new and existing systems for reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Write code, triage operational problems, and participate in full software development life cycle activities.
  • Work directly with large and demanding customers to address technical needs and resolve issues.
  • Lead or contribute to architecture and design decisions, mentor engineers, and improve engineering processes.
  • Obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.
  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
