Base Salary

$135k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle and Engineering Operations.
  • Translate engineering standards, playbooks, governance, and systems of record into automated workflows, controls, and agents.
  • Implement engineering data architecture and systems-of-record models, including integrations, context, and traceability.
  • Define scalable patterns for agent architecture, context, human-agent handoffs, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
  • Advise engineering teams on adapting and adopting the Agentic Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Develop reusable agentic capabilities and patterns that scale across Engineering.
  • Measure adoption and effectiveness and continuously improve agentic engineering capabilities.

Requirements

  • Typically 15+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 10+ years with a master's degree, 8+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep software engineering and architecture expertise, including modern software development lifecycles, automation, APIs, developer tooling, and systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building AI agents, agentic systems, or AI-enabled engineering workflows.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, context engineering, orchestration, evaluation, observability, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
  • Ability to establish technical direction and influence senior engineers, architects, and engineering leaders across an organization.
  • U.S. Person status is required, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Preferred: experience deploying production-grade agentic or autonomous engineering systems.
  • Preferred: experience integrating AI with GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, documentation, and observability platforms.
  • Preferred: experience driving adoption of new engineering practices across diverse teams.
  • Preferred: experience in aerospace, defense, mission-critical, or other high-assurance engineering environments.

  • The Colorado base pay range is $135,000.00-$180,000.00-$198,000.00 annually; other states may have different geographic market-driven ranges.
