Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for autonomous vehicle diagnostic and platform issues across manufacturing, service, program leadership, and engineering.
  • Define and improve software issue triage workflows, including ownership, classification, prioritization, escalation, containment, and corrective actions.
  • Lead detailed debugging and root-cause analysis across autonomous vehicle diagnostic and platform software.
  • Drive short-term containment and long-term resolution across vehicle programs, manufacturing environments, and software release milestones.
  • Ingest, normalize, and correlate data from test benches, development vehicles, manufacturing, and service sources.
  • Develop and maintain scalable tools, dashboards, data insights, and visualizations to identify trends and measure and forecast software quality.
  • Report technical issues, risks, resolution progress, and recommendations to engineers, program stakeholders, release stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Lead process improvements and collaborate with adjacent engineering teams and downstream partners to address integration issues and incorporate manufacturing and field needs into development and release planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead execution and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with observability, visualization, and data storage tools such as Grafana, Databricks, Power BI, GitHub, and Azure.
  • Working proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL for investigation, automation, and reporting.
  • Analytical and debugging experience with real-time distributed software systems.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, release processes, and software quality practices.
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and problem-solving ability in ambiguous, time-critical environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for data-driven technical storytelling.
  • Preferred: experience with vehicle launches, manufacturing plants, service or brand quality organizations, hardware or software diagnostics, AI/ML or LLM applications for log analysis and anomaly detection, and vehicle architecture protocols and standards.
