Responsibilities
- Own an Azure-first DevOps and developer platform, including reusable templates, pipeline blueprints, environment patterns, and deployment standards.
- Build and optimize CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release governance, rollback processes, and secure deployment controls.
- Deploy and operate applications, APIs, containers, and serverless services across Azure and hybrid or on-premises environments.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, incident response, production troubleshooting, and reliability improvements.
- Support architecture decisions, AI/GenAI productionization, LLMOps/MLOps patterns, and operational readiness.
- Automate operations with PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI while improving performance, capacity, and cost.
- Collaborate with developers, AI/data engineers, product owners, security teams, clients, and other service lines, and contribute standards and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud engineering focused on infrastructure automation.
- Strong hands-on Azure experience in production and enterprise environments.
- Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
- Experience creating reusable platform patterns, templates, deployment standards, and infrastructure-as-code modules using Bicep, Terraform, ARM, or equivalent.
- Experience deploying and operating Azure web apps, APIs, containers, serverless services, networking, monitoring, and secrets-management capabilities.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS, observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, production troubleshooting, enterprise security, and hybrid or on-premises constraints.
- Ability to work in iterative delivery environments involving proofs of concept, MVPs, and production systems.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications such as AZ-400, deep AKS/Kubernetes operations with Helm and ingress, Azure Landing Zones, Policy, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, regulated-environment experience, AI/GenAI platform experience, hybrid infrastructure, FinOps, and SAP/ERP integrations.
