Base Salary
$190k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product development from ideation, design, and implementation through release.
- Define and lead technical architecture and initiatives across complex, multi-system screening and verification workflows.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Data, and other stakeholders to instrument experiments and ship impactful features.
- Address technical debt and enable growth, reliability, scalability, and high performance across services.
- Mentor engineers and spread development best practices through knowledge sharing and documentation.
- Partner with product and engineering management on quarterly and annual planning.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience and 3+ years of experience in a project leadership role.
- Deep backend development expertise with Ruby, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Working proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript and React for API development and integrations.
- Experience building scalable systems with automated testing, observability, and high performance.
- Strong ownership from feature design through production release and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, project management, and mentoring abilities.
- A/B testing experience is a plus.
