Responsibilities
- Support reliability and security strategy across Trimble’s Azure infrastructure.
- Apply security configurations, patching standards, and operational guidelines across Windows virtual machines and SQL Servers.
- Participate in global patch deployment workflows and troubleshoot deployment failures.
- Assist with Azure landing-zone policies, RBAC controls, WAF rules, and Zero Trust protocols.
- Perform CVE scanning, vulnerability triage, and automated patch remediation.
- Write and maintain PowerShell, Python, or Terraform scripts for administrative automation, CI gates, and operational runbooks.
- Support incident triage and root-cause analysis while collaborating with engineering teams in North America and India.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cloud technical support, systems administration, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, RBAC, and cloud networking and security concepts.
- Introductory to intermediate PowerShell or Python scripting skills.
- Basic Windows Server administration knowledge and familiarity with relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CompTIA Security+.
- Preferred experience includes Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, CVSS scoring, patch management platforms, or vulnerability scanning tools.
