Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Plan, control, and coordinate motion for a heterogeneous fleet of robots in semi-structured and dynamic environments.
- Develop motion-planning and perception algorithms for robotic research platforms.
- Implement object and people classification and recognition under non-uniform lighting.
- Incorporate uncertainty models into motion planning and interaction decision-making.
- Oversee vision-based safety enhancement and enforcement in industrial settings.
- Perform visual vehicle inspections for abnormality detection and identification.
- Develop, review, implement, and deploy robotic software in C++ and Python, including embedded software.
- Deploy controls and motion-planning software on robotic hardware.
- Test system functionality using Software-in-the-Loop testing.
- Translate design requirements into functional specifications.
- Visualize and format analytics data and present it to senior engineers.
- Integrate hardware and software systems to meet functional requirements.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of experience in the offered job or a related occupation.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field plus five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
- Two years of experience developing motion-planning or perception algorithms for robotic research platforms.
- Two years of experience using C++ and Python for programming or software development, including embedded software.
- One year of experience deploying controls and motion-planning software on robotic hardware.
- One year of experience with Software-in-the-Loop testing.
- One year of experience translating design requirements into functional specifications.
- One year of experience with data visualization, analytics-data formatting, and presenting data to senior engineers.
- One year of experience integrating hardware and software systems.
