Responsibilities
- Own broad technical problem spaces, design solutions, and execute implementation.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor team members.
- Conduct code and design reviews.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, configurable server-side applications and modules.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering teams on solutions, roadmaps, and delivery.
- Build customizable and generalized functionality through configuration management.
- Improve code coverage and automated unit and Selenium testing.
- Develop and improve internal administration, monitoring, and alteration tools.
Requirements
- Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals.
- At least 10 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and highly scalable backend systems.
- Ability to develop software in at least one mainstream programming language.
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or similar.
- Python and React experience is preferred.
- Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and attention to product and user-experience quality.
