Responsibilities
- Own a broad technical problem space, design solutions, and execute implementation.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor for team members.
- Conduct code and design reviews.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, configurable server-side applications and modules.
- Work with product management, design, and engineering teams on solutions, roadmaps, and delivery.
- Build customizable and generalizable systems powered by configuration management.
- Improve code coverage and increase automated unit and Selenium testing.
- Develop and improve internal tools for administration, monitoring, and alerting.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and highly scalable backend systems.
- Ability to develop software in at least one mainstream programming language.
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or similar.
- Python and React experience are preferred.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for coding, designing, building, launching, and maintaining products.
- Attention to user experience and ability to work independently.
