Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain ground and flight software for spacecraft operations, mission control, and space missions.
Translate system requirements into maintainable software and contribute to architecture, design decisions, performance, reliability, and reuse.
Collaborate with systems engineers, mission designers, navigation engineers, and software teams on integrated spacecraft solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerized development environments, software lifecycle improvements, and engineering best practices.
Mentor junior engineers through technical mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

5–8 years of experience developing software for spacecraft systems, mission control systems, or other complex engineering applications.
Strong experience with C++, Python, or other modern programming languages.
Experience contributing to software architecture and translating system requirements into software solutions.
Familiarity with software development best practices, design patterns, version control, and code reuse strategies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers.
U.S. citizenship is required.
An active security clearance is preferred, or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.
Preferred experience includes flight software, spacecraft autonomy, distributed systems, containerized deployments, DevOps practices, aerospace software architecture, national security or classified software environments, and an active TS/SCI clearance.
