Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software features across the Keyloop platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and reliable feature delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for owned features and components.
- Onboard new team members and begin mentoring IC1 engineers and interns.
- Identify improvements to code quality, tooling, and development processes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, learning, and adaptation to unfamiliar technologies.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented or functional programming.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and willingness to learn new languages and frameworks.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and practicing test-driven or test-informed development.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of APIs, services, databases, and modern application design.
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience across multiple programming languages or technology stacks, exposure to cloud platforms or containerization, AI-driven development workflows and prompt engineering, automotive/DMS/SaaS experience, and rapid ramp-up on unfamiliar codebases.
