Base Salary
$176k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components.
- Develop scalable, secure, and performant backend APIs and services, comprising approximately 60–70% of the role.
- Build intuitive frontend experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, comprising approximately 30–40% of the role.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and implement features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Develop automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain code quality and reliability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and take ownership of work that reaches millions of users.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and design Investments products.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks and libraries.
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience working with microservices and API design.
- Strong coding and testing skills.
- High ownership and willingness to solve problems without established precedent.
- Customer empathy and interest in working directly with customers to understand needs.
