Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions and system components.
- Develop and manage ontologies and apply linked data, RDF, SPARQL, data modeling, and metadata standards.
- Integrate semantic technologies with existing software architectures while meeting scalability and performance requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, manage team execution, and make team-level technical decisions.
- Provide solutions for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead best-practice efforts to improve software quality and delivery.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Semantic Web Technologies.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Semantic Web Technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ontology development and management.
- Experience with linked data principles and Resource Description Framework.
- Familiarity with SPARQL and related query languages.
- Ability to integrate semantic technologies with existing software architectures.
- Understanding of data modeling and relevant metadata standards.
