Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Bring up new RF silicon and power up chips for the first time.
- Design and build modular, reusable, production-ready low-level silicon driver libraries.
- Develop hardware-in-the-loop test platforms and automated integration and regression tests.
- Validate silicon driver software on physical hardware and FPGA emulators.
- Support software integration with project-specific flight software teams for satellite phased arrays and user terminals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- At least 1 year of professional development experience in C, C++, or Python.
- Preferred experience developing, debugging, and deploying software used in real-world applications or projects.
- Knowledge of electronics, mathematics, physics, and RF communication systems.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, embedded software troubleshooting, lab equipment, schematics, PCB layouts, FPGA design, HDLs, and low-level register access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed for critical milestones.
- Must meet applicable ITAR employment eligibility or obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
Benefits
- Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $165,000 for Level 1 and $145,000 to $200,000 for Level 2.
