Base Salary
$388k - $558k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to, maintain, and expand React-based design component libraries and capabilities supporting hundreds of internal users.
- Implement AI solutions when appropriate to accelerate product design workflows.
- Lead projects from ideation through implementation and rollout, communicating impact to partner teams.
- Conduct internal user research to inform prioritization and feature development.
- Complete medium to large features independently and serve as the primary support contact for the Design System portfolio.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to maintain the integrity and reliability of design-system tooling.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and conduct design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and shipping software.
- Experience with single-page application architecture, patterns, and design.
- Experience fetching data from GraphQL and REST APIs and with client-side instrumentation and observability.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Ability to design, architect, debug, test, and document code effectively.
- Proven ability to lead projects, scope work, manage projects, and communicate clearly with partners.
- Experience managing web applications with complex state management.
- Professional experience working with Figma Plugins is preferred, and open-source contributions are a bonus.
