Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve distributed systems for conversational AI and LLM integrations.
- Define and implement scalable backend architectures across a polyglot stack.
- Identify and address system scalability, performance, and reliability challenges.
- Lead technical design reviews and influence architectural direction.
- Build and operate services deployed on Kubernetes, improving deployment automation.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL data models.
- Develop and integrate messaging and event-driven systems.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and AI teams to deliver new capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Build systems supporting LLM integration and orchestration.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing and building distributed systems in production.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as C#, Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud-native services using containerized infrastructure.
- Experience designing and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience building service-oriented architectures using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including system design and testing.
- Experience building or operating LLM-powered systems or AI-driven applications.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to lead technical projects and work effectively across teams.
