Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of major product capabilities from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and production operation.
- Own complex technical initiatives and shape architectural direction for secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
- Make technical decisions balancing security, privacy, performance, reliability, and usability.
- Lead complex investigations and improve engineering practices, testing, and operational readiness.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical direction through design and code reviews.
- Partner with product and research teams on technical strategy and longer-term architecture.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems and leadership of technically ambiguous, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrate foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
- Have deep expertise in systems engineering, distributed systems, security engineering, backend platforms, or endpoint software.
- Be strongly proficient in Go, Rust, and Python.
- Understand concurrency, networking, storage, APIs, operational observability, and systems with security, privacy, and reliability requirements.
- Have experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with security, cloud, enterprise, or endpoint software for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with AI applications, agents, developer platforms, AI security, security policy, detection, analysis, or software supply-chain systems.
