Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BSP software for automotive compute platforms using application-grade SoCs and Cortex-A processors for HPCs and Cortex-R/Cortex-M microcontrollers for zone and domain controllers.
- Configure AUTOSAR Classic MCAL and BSW for ECU modules including ADC, PWM, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, and WDG using EB tresos and DaVinci Configurator.
- Configure and deploy AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform services including ara::com, ara::exec, ara::diag, ara::log, and JSON manifests.
- Develop Linux BSPs for automotive HPC platforms, including Yocto/OpenEmbedded layers, device trees, U-Boot, and kernel drivers.
- Integrate QNX Neutrino, FreeRTOS, and INTEGRITY configurations for time-critical ECUs, including partitioning, task configuration, and scheduling.
- Integrate inter-domain middleware including Ethernet AVB, TSN, SOME/IP, and DDS.
- Configure vehicle OS and SDV frameworks including SOAFEE, container runtimes, and Eclipse SDV Leda.
- Develop OTA platform enablement with A/B partitions, Uptane, update engines, and rollback-safe update agents.
- Integrate automotive cybersecurity capabilities including secure boot, TrustZone/TEE, HSM key management, and AUTOSAR SecOC/CSM.
- Debug platform issues using Lauterbach TRACE32, JTAG, UART or serial consoles, ftrace, perf, and DLT logging.
- Work with SoCs from Qualcomm, Renesas, NXP, or NVIDIA.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience is stated, with additional information requiring a minimum of 4 years in automotive embedded software or SDV platform development.
- Relevant BE/BTech or ME/MTech qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in embedded C and C++ across Linux application-grade HPC and RTOS or bare-metal automotive platforms.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Classic MCAL, BSW, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, OS, COM, DCM, and DEM configuration.
- Knowledge of Linux BSP development, device-tree authoring, Yocto/OpenEmbedded layers, and kernel-driver patterns.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform, ara services, service manifests, daemon configuration, and deployment.
- Understanding of SOME/IP, vsomeip, MICROSAR, Ethernet AVB, TSN, and PDU routing.
- Experience configuring QNX Neutrino, FreeRTOS, or INTEGRITY, including scheduling and memory partitioning.
- Hands-on debugging experience with Lauterbach TRACE32, JTAG, UART consoles, DLT, ftrace, and Linux perf.
- Experience with SOAFEE, Eclipse SDV, OCI container runtimes, Podman, meta-ewaol, or SOAFEE CCA is preferred.
- Familiarity with QNX Hypervisor, ACRN, or Xen is preferred.
- Knowledge of TEE, TrustZone, OP-TEE, HSMs, Infineon SLB 9670 TPM, NXP SE050, and secure key-storage APIs is preferred.
- Exposure to DDS middleware including Fast DDS, Cyclone DDS, and Eclipse Zenoh is preferred.
- Understanding of ISO 26262, functional safety, memory protection, watchdogs, and ASIL partitioning is preferred.
