Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and mentor developers on coding standards, architecture, and best practices.
- Design modular, testable, scalable backend systems using event-driven architecture, microservices, and API-first design.
- Build LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and vector integrations with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Develop high-performance backend APIs and REST services with Python and FastAPI.
- Implement authentication and authorization flows using Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Apply automated testing, observability, code reviews, and engineering quality practices.
- Use Docker to create optimized production images and manage multi-stage builds.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders and align technical decisions with business goals.
Requirements
- Expert-level Python experience, including software design, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
- Advanced experience with LangChain or LangGraph for LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows.
- Experience with Docker, Entra ID, GitLab, LangSmith, FastAPI, Pytest, Postgres, Azureite, Poetry, Pydantic, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, distributed tracing, metrics, logging, testing, and database schema design.
- Experience designing modern architecture, including event-driven systems, microservices, and API-first services.
- Demonstrated leadership, developer mentoring, collaborative communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Neo4j and Cypher is a plus.
