Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for high-throughput applications.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
- Continuously identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
- Architect and support serverless solutions using AWS technologies.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks for system reliability.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code implementations using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Partner with development teams to determine infrastructure requirements.
- Oversee secrets management and identity systems.
- Maintain compliance with security and privacy standards.
- Resolve production incidents with a focus on rapid response.
- Create and maintain automated backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Research and adopt emerging DevOps methodologies and technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 6+ years in DevOps or related fields.
- Experience managing production environments with infrastructure responsibilities.
- Extensive AWS expertise in compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
- Practical experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and ECS Fargate.
- Advanced skills in Docker and container orchestration platforms.
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with observability solutions like Datadog or Grafana.
- Solid understanding of network design and security frameworks.
- Knowledge of secrets management systems and access policy enforcement.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset focused on automation and security.
