Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain highly available systems that orchestrate software deployment across hundreds of production environments
- Solve current customer problems through a tight feedback loop
- Work directly with other teams on cross-team problems
- Debug complex issues and performance problems throughout the software stack
- Participate throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and design through prototyping, execution, and shipping
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field
- Strong software development skills with proficiency in languages such as Java, Golang, or C++
- Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration is valued
- Experience developing and managing highly available distributed systems
- Demonstrated success building systems with monitoring, stability, and scalability requirements
- Experience building high-quality software in a fast-paced CI/CD development environment
- Ability to learn and work independently and make sound decisions with minimal direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evolve complex systems
