Responsibilities

  • Present Snowflake technology and its vision to prospective and current customer executives and IT professionals.
  • Demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology through demos and proofs of concept throughout the sales cycle.
  • Understand competitors, related technologies, and vendors and determine how to position Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing on product improvements and marketing activities.
  • Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, plan opportunity support, and assist through deal closure.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in a presales environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with both technical audiences and executives, including impromptu whiteboard presentations and demos.
  • Broad experience with large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics.
  • Ability to connect customers’ specific business challenges with Snowflake solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English.
