Base Salary
$66k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems and software.
- Determine user needs, analyze system capabilities, resolve software problems, and prepare operating instructions.
- Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, operating systems, and other software.
- Ensure software standards are met and contribute to technologies supporting national security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree for Level 1; higher levels require specified combinations of bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD education and professional experience.
- An additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance is required at the time of application, with Secret clearance required for start.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages and understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include a STEM degree, active Top Secret clearance, ground software development experience, and experience with C/C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and familiarity with Agile principles, processes, and Atlassian tools.
