Base Salary
$145k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing machine learning modules.
- Design and implement new machine learning approaches using existing frameworks.
- Keep current with academic research and industry technology.
- Transfer technologies and solutions to Volkswagen Group.
- Integrate new software modules into the framework.
- Conduct unit, integration, in-vehicle, and field tests of prototype software.
- Analyze and evaluate test results.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation.
- Generate and develop innovative ideas for automotive applications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Required master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- PhD preferred.
- Experience developing software and software architectures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-experts.
- Strong collaboration, integration, problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, dynamic, multidisciplinary, timeline- and target-oriented environment.
