Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered security tools, automation, frameworks, and services end to end for Amazon Corporate Customers.
- Contribute to technical vision, architecture, roadmap decisions, and secure software design.
- Drive execution across multiple teams and stakeholders by decomposing complex problems, unblocking dependencies, and delivering initiatives.
- Promote AI-assisted secure SDLC practices, including agentic coding and experimental development techniques.
- Translate customer security needs into technical requirements and influence roadmap priorities.
- Establish development best practices and technical review processes with senior engineers.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, and hands-on coaching.
- Own service security, lead on-call rotations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement systemic improvements.
- Prototype security solutions, validate them with customers, and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in any combination of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: at least 4 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
