Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the core AI platform powering a copilot in an AI-native trading experience.
- Develop a high-performance Rust backend supporting streaming responses, low-latency tool execution, caching, and reliable model-and-tool orchestration.
- Design and operate APIs and runtime components for authentication, authorization, rate limits, auditing, tracing, retries, and fallbacks.
- Build safe trading-action infrastructure including deterministic order previews, confirmation flows, idempotent tool calls, and comprehensive audit logs.
- Partner with product and frontend teams to support streaming, citations and grounding, explanations, and reversible actions.
- Translate trading business requirements into secure, resilient platform primitives.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience and strong proficiency with any programming language.
- Strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, performance profiling, reliability, and distributed-systems patterns.
- Experience designing and operating production APIs and services with observability, correctness guarantees, and security considerations.
- Ability to define platform requirements with stakeholders, design architecture, and deliver systems end to end.
- High degree of self-motivation and willingness to work in unfamiliar areas.
- Preferred qualifications include production Rust experience with Tokio/async, AI/ML inference or tool-execution platforms, streaming or retrieval/grounding systems, trading or mission-critical financial infrastructure, deep trading-domain knowledge, and high-throughput Postgres performance and data-modeling experience.
