Associate Software Engineer- Java full stack

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop backend business logic and RESTful APIs and integrate frontend applications with databases and enterprise services.
- Build responsive, reusable user interfaces and maintain application data models and SQL queries.
- Develop unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Use Git and GitHub for source control, branching, collaboration, and code reviews.
- Work with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy applications across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Use Splunk and New Relic to review logs, monitor application behavior, and assist with production incident and performance issue triage.
- Troubleshoot defects and integration issues, support secure software development and defect remediation, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, QA engineers, architects, DevOps engineers, and developers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience or strong foundational knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and relational databases, with experience using PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, automated testing, and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS experience; Docker and Kubernetes familiarity; Jenkins or other CI/CD technologies; Splunk, New Relic, or comparable observability tools; microservices and cloud-native development; and Agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
