Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test or QA software.
- Develop and debug software applications or operating systems according to design specifications.
- Build enhancements within existing software architectures and suggest architecture improvements.
- Work with cloud services, microservices, containers, distributed systems, event-driven processing, scalability, reliability, and security controls.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Four years of experience in the offered job or a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Experience with cloud services including compute, managed storage and databases, messaging and eventing, identity and access management, monitoring, logging, and security.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, Git, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, distributed systems, scalability, asynchronous processing, high availability, disaster recovery, reliability, and security and access control.
- Experience with generative AI and ChatGPT.
