Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, enhance, and maintain custom software components across systems and applications.
- Administer IBM i/AS/400 environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, user profiles, configurations, and software installations.
- Manage job scheduling, backup procedures, and security on IBM i/AS/400 platforms.
- Integrate IBM i/AS/400 systems with enterprise applications and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document technical specifications, and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Work independently as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IBM i/AS/400 administration.
- Proficiency in IBM i/AS/400 administration, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of job scheduling, backup procedures, and security management on IBM i/AS/400 platforms.
- Ability to manage user profiles, system configurations, and software installations.
- Familiarity with integrating IBM i/AS/400 systems with enterprise applications and databases.
- 15 years of full-time education.
