Responsibilities
- Build and optimize SaaS connectors for multiple applications, accounting for API limits and data synchronization requirements.
- Develop customer-facing REST API layers, including endpoints, authentication, and basic scalability features.
- Resolve performance issues in data pipelines and maintain high-quality, efficient codebases.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on feature scoping, breakdown, and implementation while owning smaller components end-to-end.
- Document integrations and contribute to system improvements under guidance.
- Support junior engineers through code reviews and best-practice guidance for system reliability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated object-oriented design skills and experience applying design patterns to maintainable SaaS integrations.
- Hands-on experience with concurrent systems or data pipelines, including awareness of performance trade-offs and high-availability basics.
- Understanding of REST API development, including building endpoints and handling requests and responses.
- Strong Java programming skills and solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Analytical troubleshooting ability for data inconsistencies, token refreshes, schema drift, and other SaaS connector challenges.
- 3–4 years of experience in SaaS integrations, API development, or scalable data systems.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
