Responsibilities
- Architect robust systems across data, model, and product layers.
- Build scalable data pipelines to manage large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize search and retrieval infrastructure for accurate and low-latency responses.
- Collaborate with product managers and experts to develop steerable AI systems.
- Craft and maintain evaluation datasets and scoring modules for AI product quality.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely success.
- Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in machine learning and AI.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building ML systems at scale in production settings.
- Experience with ranking or recommender systems, generative AI products, or vector databases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex problems.
- Strong communication skills and resilience in achieving success.
